Activities at the after-school care

At all BSO locations, we regularly plan activities such as sports and games, creative activities, drama, music, and much more. These activities often revolve around specific themes, such as "traffic." Additionally, we occasionally organize workshops conducted by specialists. For example, Tennis School Nossik Versteeg conducted a tennis workshop at De Vrijbuiters, and Socio-Cultural Work Leiderdorp offered a comic drawing course at Het Buitenhof.  

Holiday activities 

During the holidays, the BSO becomes even more exciting! We often go on outings, including sports and games on the beach, sailing, and swimming as examples of active holiday activities. We also regularly organize a 'battle' where children from different BSO locations compete against each other for the coveted trophy in the De Does sports hall. Of course, cultural trips are also on the agenda, such as visits to museums. A trip to Schiphol Airport is always an intriguing adventure, and we also enjoy playing in indoor and outdoor playgrounds.

All locations have an activity program during the holidays. All parents receive information about the holiday program through the parent portal in Konnect. 

Sports and games at the after-school care

FloreoKids values the importance of ensuring that children get enough physical activity. Therefore, we spend a lot of time playing outdoors and emphasize sports and games. Some of our BSO locations place extra emphasis on sports and games. For example, at the De Vrijbuiters location, which utilizes the fields of hockey club Alecto and football club RCL, children have ample space for such activities. Of course, we also provide plenty of attention to indoor activities of a more creative nature, and children are free to relax and chill if they feel like it. 

Children from Kindcentrum De Brink regularly make use of De Does sports hall. Under the guidance of a specialized teacher, the children participate in a diverse sports and games program. Additionally, during the winter, various locations also use a nearby gymnasium on Wednesday afternoons. This way, FloreoKids provides a sports program for all BSO locations. 

Heading to hockey or soccer practice during BSO hours? At De Vrijbuiters, that's not an issue. In coordination with the pedagogical professional, children can be taken to their training sessions, ensuring they don't have to miss out on their training.
