Outdoor play, sports, and physical activities
At BSO De Schatzoeker in the Bloemerd sports park, the focus is on outdoor play, sports and physical activities. De Schatzoekers is for children aged 4 to 6 years and is located in the clubhouse of the RCL soccer club, where they have their own space. The children have ample challenges and space on the sports grounds.
What makes De Schatzoekers unique?
De Schatzoekers have plenty of indoor play space. We've divided the area into different corners, such as a building corner, reading corner, and car corner. This way, spaces have also been created for games, crafting, and drawing. Additionally, we have a drum set indoors. Children can receive drum lessons from a colleague if they're interested. Outside, we utilize a soccer field during the afternoon and throughout school holidays. We have a shed with various toys, including go-karts, scooters, and bikes. We also make extensive use of Sportpark de Bloemerd. We enjoy visiting the natural playground, skatepark, equestrian center, and of course, our colleagues at De Vrijbuiters.
We practice child participation, which means that the children have a say in daily activities and are also involved in thinking about holiday plans, toys, and how spaces are used. We work with a focus on talents. Each child has their own treasure chest which they get to decorate and is filled with their talents. We gather these talents through individual conversations with each "Schatzoeker". Feel free to come by for a tour!
Flexible options
Children who are members of a sports club in the vicinity can, in coordination with the pedagogical professional, attend their sports training during the after-school care (BSO) once they reach a certain age.
