Lunchtime

Under the name "Lunchtijd," the Leiderdorp Interim School Care Foundation (STOL) provides lunchtime supervision at nine primary schools in Leiderdorp and one in Hoogmade. Lunchtijd operates on behalf of these primary schools and ensures that the children have a safe and enjoyable lunch break at school while allowing the teachers to take a well-deserved break. 

Schools and Lunchtime Supervision Team 

In this overview, you can see the schools where Lunchtijd provides lunchtime supervision. It also indicates who the coordinator is at your child's school. The coordinator is a pedagogical professional by FloreoKids. He/she is the primary point of contact for the school. The coordinator guides and supports the volunteer team and manages the daily schedule. If any incidents occur during lunchtime supervision, we communicate this to the teachers. So, the school is always informed about matters that arise during lunchtime.

Volunteers

Lunchtijd is a volunteer organization. Therefore, the lunchtime supervision team consists mainly of volunteers. The team is supplemented by one or more pedagogical professionals from FloreoKids, one of whom serves as the coordinator. 
All volunteers are required to have a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and participate in annual Child First Aid (Kinder EHBO) training. Throughout the year, one or more pedagogical courses are also organized for them.

Procedure

In most schools where Lunchtijd operates, collective lunchtime supervision is in place. This means that all children stay at school during lunchtime. At most schools, the teacher eats with the children, and Lunchtijd supervises them during outdoor playtime.

Register

In almost all cases, registration for lunchtime supervision takes place through the school. They also handle the invoicing. 

Ter Does in Hoogmade is an exception to this.
