Uk en Puk: a good start for elementary school

The Uk en Puk pre-educational program is facilitated at this toddler daycare. With this program, we focus on the development of language and speech. This program provides a good foundation for elementary school. Our approach is very structured, so children can also develop in other areas. Like this, toddler care is a challenge for all children. Parents are included in this programme, at home as well as at the daycare.

Children with a language or speech deficiency get a referral to the daycare from the child health clinic. Children with a referral like such will be placed at the daycare at least two mornings per week.

Playing inside in good company, playing outside in safety

“Het Torentje” has their own classroom with loads of toys, games and crafts-gear. Additionally, children can play outside in all safety. A part of the playground is secured, and there is a sandpit where the children can play around. You will find more information about Het Torentje in our pedagogical work plan.

Out-of-school care

Het Torentje is part of child center Het Buitenhof, where out-of-school care is also provided.
