FloreoKids has a parent portal: Konnect. Here you can view photos of your child, send and receive messages, view daily schedules and more. You will also receive news from the location and from the organization via your Konnect. In Konnect you can arrange the request for extra days, cancellations and/or vacation days and you will find the number of Floreos.
Install & Login
• Go to: http://FloreoKids.ouderportaal.nl
• Username = your email address as known to us
• Password: if you are logging in for the first time, click on 'forgot password'
• In the next step, you can create a new (your own) password. You will receive a confirmation email.
Please note: this mail may arrive in the junk mail/spam folder.
Konnect app
Konnect also has an app, which you can download from the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
Search for Konnect's Parent App. The icon is an orange circle with a red parent figure and white child figure. The name 'FloreoKids' is not mentioned here. Once you've installed the app, enter the following information to access the parent portal through the app:
- URL FloreoKids https://FloreoKids.ouderportaal.nl
- Username: your email address as known to us
- Password: your new password or click on 'forgot password/log in for the first time'.
Not all functionalities are available in the app. For all the possibilities, choose the web version.
Entering (missing) data
If you open Konnect via the web version, you have access to the childcare calendar, your data and the newsletters. You can also change your own address details, view invoices and make requests for extra childcare or cancellations, for example. Please go through the following steps before the first day of childcare:
• Filling in any missing information of your child(ren):
o Choose tab 'other'
o Click on your child's name
o Go to 'child data'
• To give or not to give permission for, for example, photos, trips, etc.
o Choose tab 'other'
o Click on your child's name
o Go to 'permissions'
Konnect rules
To keep the use of Konnect enjoyable for everyone, we have established some rules:
• The messages you can send to the group using Konnect are for exchanging low-priority messages. For example, if you have forgotten to report something small during the transfer or another question or comment that is not urgent. The employees regularly check the messages, but certainly do not do so throughout the day. So it may take a few hours before you get a response.
• The messages you exchange via Konnect go directly to the group. Questions about invoicing, planning, etc. can be directed to the employees of the Central Office via
• The photos you see on the parent portal can be downloaded for your own use. It is explicitly not the intention that you use photos with group members on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
• After terminating your contract with FloreoKids, you will have access to Konnect for another two months.
Frequently used features in Konnect
These features are available both in the app and in the web version.
• Signing out of your child
You can use Konnect to deregister your child from childcare, for example due to illness. This can be done until the day itself before 9:00 in the morning. For pre-school care (VSO) there is a deadline of 7.15 hours for cancellation. You can unsubscribe after 9:00 a.m. by calling the Central Office: 071-5817777 or by sending an email to
• Cancelling for vacation
You can report an absence via the agenda. Click on the blue circle at the bottom right of the calendar and choose 'report absence'. This can be done up to three months in advance.
• Requesting an extra day
You can request an extra day via the agenda. Click on the blue circle at the bottom right of the calendar and choose 'request day'. The PM(s) in the group must give permission for this. To do this, they look at child occupancy and staffing.
• Reading messages from the location/sending to the location
Using the 'Messages' option, you can send a message to the location. As mentioned in the rules of the game, this option is intended for messages that are not urgent. At the KDV there is an extra option 'Diary'. Receiving messages from the location can be done by using the 'messages' option. If you turn on the notifications, you won't miss a single message.
